Northwest Washington: Chuckanut Ridge from Bellingham, around Lake Samish to Bow and Samish Island...the stop in Bow for a pint of IPA is a necessity. Or the Lummi Island Gooseberry Point ride. Around these parts I am fond of the Ames to Woodward ride with friends; complete with a stop at Mr. C's for a grinder and a cold one.

Why I Ride:

I ride because I have to. Want to. Cannot possibly imagine staying sane without it.

About Me:

I am a 2008-09 rookie on the PRC Women's Cycling team; I recently relocated home to Ames, Iowa from Bellingham, Washington. I feel very fortunate to cut my proverbial racing teeth in the presence of such an accomplished group of strong, fast women and am looking foward to making an impact in 2009!
