- When I'm home in Marin County, I always make time to ride up Mt Tam via Bolinas Ridge Road in Fairfax. The ride takes about 2 hours with 2200' of climbing. It winds through redwood forests, has breathtaking views of the Pacific, then finishes with a fantastic descent into downtown Mill Valley...where I always reward myself with a coffee stop! :)
- Why I Ride:
- It's just awesome to go fast!! I savor the reward of a good race after the discipline of training. But my biggest reason for riding is the simplicity and quiet of being on a bike (when there's no traffic).
- About Me:
- I'm a professional cyclist for Aaron's Pro Cycling. I also juggle graduate school, where I'm studying how buildings behave during earthquakes. I love red wine, living in California, being with close friends and family. My vices are bagel dogs and hazelnut lattes!!

that's when i realized: the Specialized S-Works 2008 brochure; yup, right there on page 24, you and/or your teammates: "all about Synergy"! haha!
interesting how the bib-numbers are attache to the right shoulder!
