- I am a newby to California, so I only have a few favorite rides so far. That might change as I explore. I really enjoy the roads of Old Santa Cruz Hwy and up in the SC Mountains. Los Altos is a pizza earner as well. As far as mountain goes, UC Santa Cruz hits the spot. I have a number of rides in Colorado that I miss, but too many to name. Mt Evans outside of Denver is a great experience if you want to ride up to a 14,000 ft summit. A summer event only for sure, but worth the trip.
- Why I Ride:
- When I was a wee one with my first bike, I realized that riding was just as much fun to do alone as it was to do with others. There weren't a lot of other sports that I could say that about, so I stuck with it. It fills any void, and that's pretty great
- About Me:
- I am celebrating my 16th year in the cycling industry. I got my first job at a bike shop in Kansas City right out of high school. One shop led to another and 4 states later...I am working for Specialized. It is the best job in the world. I wouldn't change anything about my past. I have met so many phenominal people and created a lot of beautiful memories. This industry has treated me very well.
