Hi Kit.I read your write up about the Epic and agree about the price-$8000.ouch.That's a steep price for a recreational "toy".But as in anything else,if you want the best it's going to cost you.I race and get support from a local bike store but not much so I will not buy one but "test" ride them every chance I get.
