Where do you want to ride in 2008?

posted by id* at 09:23 AM on April 29, 2008

Follow Riders Club to the Giro in '08

We love riding our bikes at Riders Club - in fact we ride as much as possible in as many places as possible.  As much fun as that is, we love to share the joy of riding with as many riders as we can.  For 2008 we have a great list of events and trips, but want to do MORE!  Our tag-line is Ride More; More Often after all...

So for 2008 we already have some great trips planned:

The Giro d'Italia in May
A Women's Weekend in Solvang in June
Ride the Rockies in June

With more to come including September riding in Durango with Ned Overned, the Kokopelli Trail in October and a winter get a way in November.

As we add more trips for 2008 and 2009 we wanted to ask you our members - WHERE DO YOU WANT TO RIDE in 2008 and 2009?

The joy of Riders Club is that we can go anywhere and ride anything - so tell us where you want to go and when you want to go there.  We'll do our best to plan trips our members want and get out to ride more on new bikes with new friends!

Thanks!

Lost Coast from Ferndale to Fort Bragg, Ca. Mountains, beaches, redwood forests, pristine streams and rivers, great air, the closest city upwind is Tokyo, it just doesn't get any better than that.

We have an incredible women's group in Cody, Wyoming with great riding - whether it's slick rock, technical high desert riding or climbing up through the timber. There are some guys around here too that like to ride as well. Generally they follow the girls lead though!

Texas Hill Country and NE Texas can both provide some pretty good rides. The Mineral Wells area also has some good riding opportunities. And there are quite a few Specialized owners in the area.

I'd like to skydive, tabletopping my bike from a c130 dropped over Mt. Everest, then DH all the way to the base of it. I don't know if this is even possible, but who cares since this is kind of a wish list thing.

How about a late year (December) trip around Tucson, AZ or Phoenix. Or Tucson to Phoenix over a couple of days. Maybe over New Years and welcome 2009 the Specialized way.

I'll be happy just exploring the Phoenix-Metro area as soon as I make it down there. I guess peak summer wouldn't be that ideal, so I will look forward to the Fall time.
