Riders Club at the Sea Otter Classic
posted by id* at 10:16 AM on April 14, 2008
It's Sea Otter Classic time again. We love the Sea Otter because it has everything to do with why we ride bikes - all kind of bikes. With races at all levels and across all disciplines we love hitting the dirt for some racing, watching the dirt jump invitational, rollin' in the Bicycling Magazine Road Tour, and hanging out next to the BMX track.
This year we've got activities all weekend long.
Thursday come check out our Riders Club booth and book some trainer time for your race warmup. We've got our Team Support program set up again thanks to our friends at Clif and Saris!
Friday join us at the Premier of Seasons - The Collective's new film. If you haven't seen the trailer yet - check it here
I've got 20 tickets to the 5:30 show on Friday to give a way to Riders Club Members - come to the booth - show me your membership card and go to the movie for FREE! I've also got guaranteed tickets to the 8:00pm - for only $10!
The show is at the Steinbeck Forum in the Monterey Conference Center at One Portola Place, Monterey, CA. 5:30pm and 8:00pm showings.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday meet our athletes at 1pm each day - we've got Matt Hunter and Rebecca Rusch confirmed!
Thursday and Saturday join us for a Riders Club Night Ride at 7:30pm! We'll meet at the demo truck! If you need a demo bike or demo light talk to us earlier and we'll set it up!

Wish I could be there. Enjoy! I heard no rain though, what's up with that?

I was in town last weekend and it was amazingly beautiful. The hills were green, the sky was blue, but that wind sure was kicking. Have fun you all and I sure wish I were there as well.

My very 1st MTB race and it was pretty awesome. The sand pit sucked on the XC course but hey it's all good... crashing is part of the fun! Next year I'm gonna train properly and do a pre-ride.
