That new bike smell.

I just finished building up a Carbon Hardtail. I have been a suspension guy for quite sometime. But man this thing feels so fast.
It's maiden voyage was at the Dark Mountain trails in Wilkesboro, NC. Beautifully maintained buffed out trails. The speed you can maintain through these trails can make anyone feel like a lycra clad rock star!
As soon as I mounted this carbon steed it wanted to run. One little push on the pedals and bang you are flying. I have not had the exhilration of railing turns through the woods like I had this day in quite some time. It felt as if I was on one of those things from Star Wars that those bad type guys ripped through the wood on, the one with the Ewoks. Is that how you spell Ewoks? Any how it is fast! Anyway all I am trying to say it is a blast to get on a new bike.
