My second and third races

Well, this past weekend I par-took in my second and third road races. I do not even know where to begin on the differences between these races and Kent Park. I guess they start with my mental health and continue into my legs and further to the race courses and participants.
These races were soooo much fun! There was us PRC girls, the All9Yards chicas in pink, and a few others. So, there were many more girls than last weekend. We worked toegether well, although a bit squirly (some more than others), and had a good time toegether. I am continually amazed and challenged by the technical aspects of road racing, which I think is what I fell in love with this weekend. On day one, at Altoona, there was the girl who went off the front only to suffer through the wind and hills alone for most the race. I was so ansy to try and catch her only to continually be told that it was too early and she would soon wear out, which she did. On day two, Big Creek, the pace of the race was soooo slow I thought the wind was going to pick me up off my bike and toss me in the fields, but alas it did not. But I did try and take off at one point, took part in my second crash, started my sprint way too early, and still managed to pull off a third place finish.
So I did not have any spectacular finishes but I did have a ton of fun. And when it comes down to it, that is really what is most important to me right now, as far as the bike thing goes, cause right now I really got to get started on some school work.
