Ride Description
We had a headwind on the way in, which was nice when you're sitting in, but murder when you're on the front. Other than that it was a nice mellow ride in with El Diablo, K-Ren and Sara B. Now here comes the fun part, the ride home. We hammered out with a nice tailwind all the way to Bailey, where we hung a louie and headed up and over. Of course me being the non-climber superstar that I am, I picked up the rear to make sure all were safely up and over. Then we continued on McKean where El Diablo blasted all after the hard right sweeper, leaving the rest of us in pure amazement(not really, more like a little hurt). We then regrouped and headed on in and Sara B had a couple run-ins with a pinecone(note to talk to K-Ren about that one). All in all, just another commute ride.

That was sweet! Tail wind home is a total rarity so when it happens, you take advantage. I got home about 20 min. sooner than typical. rollin' at 25mph and carrying on conversation makes the headwind ride in so worth it. I think the tailwind magnified K-Ren's excitement level as his vocal outbursts were at extreme levels. May not get another ride home like that for a while.
