Aaron's "The Kat" Carroll Podiums at Redlands

The 24th Redlands Bicycle Classic was a great weekend for the Aaron's Team.
Kat Carroll got the team's first stage win on Stage 2 after having placed second in the prologue to current U23 National Champion Mara Abbott. Her stage win and sprinting ability also gave her enough points to hold the sprint jersey going into Stage 3.
My vote for the races most aggressive rider would hands down be our own Meredith Miller. After placing 9th in the prologue Meredith went on to spend over 2 1/2 of 4 laps either in a solo break away or in a small group of five riders. Again on the final Sunset Stage Meredith bridged a 1 min. gap solo to put the pressure onto Team High Road who held the yellow jersey.
The team raced very well together. It was the first race for the team's new Canadians and they didn't disappoint. Nineteen year old Julie Beveridge from Calgary, Alberta Canada ended up 9th place overall and was active in the QOM competition. Julie is the current U23 Canadian National Time Trial Champion.
