Emily Can Totally Tell It's Diet Dr. Pepper

Taken from VeloNooz.com -In a recent on-line survey the question was raised, "Does Diet Dr. Pepper taste more like regular Dr. Pepper?" Emily Schaapveld, memberof Punk Rock Cycling and an honorary winner of the 2008 Can't Pronounce My Last Name Award, spoke candidly on the topic. "Not me, I can definitely tell that it is diet." said Schaapveld, "When are they going to learn that aspartame is NEVER going to taste like high fructose corn syrup?"
Upon hearing of Schaapveld's comments W.W. Clements, a former CEO and president of the Dr Pepper/7-Up Company, described the taste of Diet Dr Pepper as one-of-a-kind, saying "I've always maintained you can't tell anyone what Diet Dr Pepper tastes like because it's so different. It's not an apple, it's not an orange, it's not a root beer, it's not even a cola. It's a different kind of drink with a unique taste all its own."
To which Schaapveld had only to say, "Yeah, the unique taste of butt."
