Double racing = double crushing

Bay Area Super Prestige #4 hit Golden Gate park on the weekend and i figured if i was going to drive all the way up to the city for the day i might as well get in all the racing i could handle. apparently i can't handle two races very well since about 3/4 of the way through race#2 i crashed pretty hard - trying to bunny hop and can of beer someone left on the course! ok maybe the crash was more my fault for trying to hit a sweet jump in the middle of a race, but i'm sure i would have stuck that landing if i hadn't been so tired...
Seriously however - if you want to get fit fast, going for the double-double is a great way to do it. I'm tired today, but after 2x 45min at a HR over threshold i'm sure i'll see some sweet training rewards in a few days - i can manage to get myself back onto my bike!
CX Nats are coming up soon, and i've got two plans in place - 1) don't get lapped in the men's B race and 2) don't get lapped in the first half an hour in the masters 35+ race... i think the first will be easier to achieve then the second - after watching the Master's A 35+ race this weekend i think i'm in for some serious trouble at Nats... but hey - what the point in racing if you can't get the beat-down once i a while.
here are some sweet shots of me getting my butt kicked this past weekend... and yes that damn turkey did beat me. that's pretty embarrassing...

Getting beat down only hurts the pride for a week or so... Well thats where I am at, I think the pain of defeat shall cease soon.
