Fog or Smog

Fog or smog? That was a common question that I kept asking my self during the week I spent in the OC ridding and demoing bikes with some cool shops. I had a chance to ride the San Juan Trail and, I rocked the Stumpy 29er up and down the mountain. The trail was just as hard, and sun just as unforgiving on the exposed parts of the trials as I remember it, but the wild flowers were kicking ass. I tried to take some good photos and capture nature’s bling bling. The ride was great and the stumpy concord all the switch backs, rocky climbs and railed all the single track on the way back down. The only part that bogged my down was a stalemate with a rattle snake that was sunbathing in the middle of the singe track. The snake and I hung out and chatted for about 15 minutes before he decided to move along and let me get on my way. I left OC with a need to put some chrome on my truck and possibly get a face lift but I think these feeling will fade along with the smog in my lungs, but not the knowledge that now matter where I go people who ride bikes are way cool. I am looking forward to seeing what other trials the area has to offer.

The trails look hella rad. I hear you can even get calf implants out there. That would be sweet.
The short jornal entry was a accident, there is a longer version of that one someone on here...
