Vancuver/whistler

     After the dealer event in Salt Lake City, I took a little me time and travelled up to Vancouver. A buddy of mine, Brad D. met me and we hooked up with some locals that work for Arc'Tyrex. I had never ridden any of the North Shore trails and I was a little weary having to test them out in the pouring rain. That's right, as soon as we got there, it started to unload on us. We road at Fromme and Mt. Seymor, hitting a number of classic "must rides".
     We had a condo up at Whistler for the next week during the Crankworks festival so we headed up there. There were a ton of people up there for the bike festival and there was always something to do in the village. It was fun to see all of the pros but I have to admit to getting a little bored after a while, watching someone else ride. We had plenty of time so we did a bit of riding on the trails around Whistler (excellent all mountain riding with plenty of features) as well as multiple lift serve days.
     As fun as Whistler was though, it's Vancouver I can't wait to get back to. The work that has been put into those trais is unbelievable.
