Cyclo-cross Nationals Wrap up
posted by id* at 08:18 AM on December 17, 2007
Specialized and the Specialized Riders Club rolled into Kansas City this last week for four days of cyclocross and got four completely different days of racing! With weather changing from 40 degrees and muddy to 35 degrees and snowing all the way down to 10 deg and windy - we had some of the best cyclocross racing I have ever seen.
Over the next few days I'll put up race reports from some of the different racers at cross nats, but as a quick summary Specialized Sponsored racers were all over the podiums. From Cody Kaiser of\ Team Spine on the Junior 15-16 Podium, to Andy Jacques-Maynes winning the Masters 30-34, to Alan Coats winning the Masters 40-44 to Ned defending his Masters 50-54 title. We had Specialized sponored teams in almost every race and the Specialized Riders Club warm up tent presented by Saris was always busy!
Be sure to check back for more photos, more updates and race reports from our "on-the-ground" racers in Kansas City! We will be back all year next year with our Riders Club warm up tent at mountain bike, road races and cyclocross races all over the country.
Thanks again to our friends at Saris and Clif for their ongoing support (especially with our new favorite Clif Hot Chocolate recovery drink).
