Specialized Proves Science is FUN!

www.specialized.com/suspention

I’m stoked to have a sneak-peak for Riders Club into the new Specialized suspension website.  The site hasn’t even officially launched in the US yet, and we’re a week away from a global launch, but I’ve been given permission to show it off to Riders Club first.  Make sure you check out the videos on each bike's exhibit. They are really cool.

Specialized Bicycle Components unveiled www.specialized.com/suspension the website dedicated to demonstrating and explaining Total Suspension Integration and the key technologies that make their range of full-suspension mountain bikes the best in the world.

Specialized.com/suspension provides an in-depth look into Specialized’s Total Suspension Integration, FSR rear suspension, Flow Control Brain technology, FutureShock™ forks and AFR Shock™ rear shocks -- the key elements that are synergistically designed to optimize specific riding experiences.

The entire site is housed in a futuristic museum setting, and site visitors are invited to view in-depth technology animations, explore the bikes in their (super)natural environments and see high-quality riding videos of the bikes in action.

"We built this site to bring riders deep into the science of our full-suspension bikes, and provide information in a fun, experiential way," said Specialized Interactive Director, Sean McLaughlin. "Riders will get more out of their bikes if they better understand what makes each one best suited for its intended riding experience."

The expansive website was created by passionate riders from many sources.

Opps, freaking "enter" key.
Interesting concept and presentation of product. Realizing you guys are just bringing this on-line (and I'm sure that's been a time-intensive endevor), I'm looking forward to seeing others (that means road product, LOL) if this one works out for you.

Marc:
It took a few months for those of us that joined in December to have the first issues show up (maybe March or April), but it arrives on a regular basis now. Between the subscription(s) and jersey, I've been pretty happy with the overall deal through the club.

I joined the club in mid-June and still no magazines......did get the jersey. Getting the magazine without much effort on my part will determine if I renew.

Maybe specialized should look for another publisher. It's not good PR to be late on magazines not being sent.

Hi Club!
We are actively trying to figure out why some people get the magazines right away and some do not. If you joined the club and did not receive Bicycling or Mountain Bike Magazine within 8 weeks of joining PLEASE send us an email at riders@specialized.com with your name, log in email address and home address and we will figure out why you aren't on the list and get you on the subscription list ASAP.
Thanks!

The website is neat. Only thing I would have liked to seen was a comparison of other suspension types, even if it was only the lowly single-pivot.

Guys i have a question. If i replace my brake levers on my allez elite compact road bike do i have to use the same tiagra's or can i use campagnolo or sram?

You would typically keep the same component group together - i.e. Tiagra is Shimano so you would need to get another 9-speed shimano shifter. You could use a new Tiagra or older Shimano 105, Ultegra or Dura-Ace but it will need to be 9-speed not 10.

ok thanks a lot id* so the only way to use sram or campy is to swich the whole gruppo right?

Guys, in all honesty. It's not the fault of Spesh. The magazine decided to partner up in this deal, it's promotion for them. Send them an email and let them know that they are not making a good impressions, nor are they holding up their end of the deal. That's what I did, and I've been receiving my zines regularly.

I have a Enduro SL Pro Carbon, and I'm trying to find some info about the E150 forks, and how to rebuild or fix the leakage problems. Any advice or recommendations?

I agree with Shane 41, please give us a on-line E150 manual we can use to rebuild or do scheduled maintainance with. Right now all we have is Other's web site forums to get information from and that is always third hand and may not be reliable.

Having trouble with the web site:
When I click on the Intregrated Suspension Link, it comes up in a new window, but I get two boxes flickering in the bottom right hand corner. From there it just seems to lock up or stop working. Any suggestions? Thanks
